Feed the World Books
The Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom program is offering this special topic grant to teachers across the state of Illinois. This grant will provide specific book topics to integrate how US Farmers help feed the world. This grant will purchase specific books including “The Hungry Planet”, “What the World Eats” and “Food.” Click here to learn more.
Livestock Readers
This grant will provide your choice of the following suggested book titles: Clarabelle (hardback) by Cris Peterson (reading level grades 3-5), Amazing Grazing (paperback) by Cris Peterson (reading level grades 3-5), Little Joe (hardback) by Sandra Neil Wallace (reading level grades 4-6), The Beef Princess of Practical County (paperback) by Michelle Houts (reading level grades 5-8), and Heart of a Shepherd (paperback) by Rosanne Parry (reading level grade 4-7).
